There’s two great new food programs starting in Braybrook and Maidstone as part of the Maribyrnong Council Incredible, Edible, Moveable Maribyrnong project.

Koorie Kitchen – Chat & Yarn
The Incredible, Edible, Movable Maribyrnong project in partnership with the Western Region Health Centre has established a Koorie Kitchen – Chat & Yarn program. The program aims to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to learn and develop their skills around healthy eating. This is a FREE program run by Indigenous workers. You can come along to share in a meal while at the same time learning about healthy eating for you and your family and cooking on a budget with traditional and non-traditional meals. Each Koorie Kitchen Program will run for eight weeks beginning on 2 August at Braybrook Community Centre. You are welcome to attend more than one program.
