Volunteering is a great way for refugees and newly arrived migrants to redefine their relationship to their new home, helping a create a sense of place and belonging.
This semester, students at AMES in Footscray have been studying our environment. Some of them have decided to commemorate refugee week by organising a clean up day. They are keen to meet you, share with you what they have learnt and work with you to look after our shared local environment.
