Western Region Community Food Enterprises
Making good food accessible to all
Information Sessions
A community food enterprise is a not-for-profit, community-run food outlet which aims to make good, affordable food accessible to communities and people that are at risk of food insecurity. They also provide a range of other benefits including opportunities for social inclusion, skills development and local economic development.
At the information sessions you will hear from existing community food enterprises and find out:
•What is a community food enterprise? What community benefits do they create?
•What are the opportunities and supports available for your community or organisation to develop a community food enterprise?
