Come along to Yarraville Gardens on 21 October for a picnic in the park to celebrate the children and families in our City.
Maribyrnong City Council’s annual Children’s Week Picnic in the Park has become a popular and much loved outing for local families and this year will be no exception as Yarraville Gardens becomes a hub of fun, kid-friendly activity as Council celebrates Children’s Week.
There will be a range of play activities, giveaways, and bilingual storytime for little-ones up to five years and parents and carers will be able to enjoy a free relaxation massage and peruse a range of stallholders offering information about Early Years and Family Health Services.
Families should pack a picnic morning tea along with hats and sunscreen to make the most of this fun event.
No bookings required. Children’s Week (18- 26 October) is a national event recognising the talents, skills, achievements and rights of young people.
