My Smart Garden Workshop – Lazy person’s guide to composting and worm farming

Saturday 2 June, 1-3pm
Farnham Street Neighbourhood Learning Centre
28 Farnham St, Flemington

Composting sometimes gets a bad rap as a messy, smelly, labour-intensive chore, but it doesn’t need to be – honestly! Learn different composting and worm farming techniques and how to trouble shoot common problems. You’ll be able to start a compost bin or worm farm, choose a system that suits you best and, very importantly, know how to use your compost and worm castings in the garden.

FREE workshop. Bookings required at www.mysmartgarden.eventbrite.com or call 9932 1142.

Moonee Valley and Hobsons Bay City Council’s My Smart Garden program helps residents use their backyards or balconies to grow their own food, shade their homes, use water wisely and recycle wastes.
