Edible gardens open day

Sunday 22 April, 10am-3pm

The My Smart Gardens program has organised an open garden day featuring two inspiring permaculture food gardens in Moonee Valley.

Dylnn and Jo’s place 37 Dover St, Flemington Tours at 11am & 1pm Dylan and Jo have packed a lot into a small space with earth bag vegetable beds, chickens, a food forest, espaliered fruit trees, a bee hive and more.		Ascot Vale Special school 1 Tasma Ave, Ascot Vale Tours at 12 & 2pm In less than a year the school has created an inviting, productive food garden for the students. Check out the corrugated metal wicking beds, chickens, a demonstration mini-wicking box and more.
FREE EVENT — No bookings, just turn up on the day.
