Saturday 24 September 10 am – 12noon: Hyde St Reserve
(Enter at Hyde Street opposite the Mobil tanks)
Spring Equinox Planting Day at the wildflower garden
A group of residents maintain the Somerville Road overpass garden, on the northern slope facing Tongue St, Yarraville, under the auspices of the Friends of Stony Creek. We are having a working bee this Sunday 25 September 2011 from 10 am. We’ll be weeding, tidying, mulching, collecting rubbish and generally maintaining it so that the brilliant flowers we have growing there can flourish.
It’s a big area and we need all the help we can get, so if you have a little time to spare next Sunday morning, we’d be delighted to see you.
Please bring your own tools, sunscreen and sturdy boots.
