Hidden away in Keilor East is an incredible, inspiring property called Rose Creek Estate.

Rose Creek Estate has been described as “Tuscany in East Keilor”, with the house and vineyard surrounded by 300 olive trees, fresh fruit and vegetables all just a step from the back door. The Sicilianos established Rose Creek Estate based on their home town Varapodio in Italy. The views and family atmosphere around Rose Creek Estate and their passion for traditional Italian cuisine and living give the property in the suburbs a mediterranean ambience.

This Sunday 28 August the family open their property as part of the Sunbury Wine Region Festival, and it really is an opportunity not to be missed by any westside Permie or just anyone who wishes to be inspired by beautiful edible abundance! The family’s passion and knowledge for growing and cooking fresh food is vast, and there is also ingenious use throughout the property of reused materials. They don’t call it permaculture, they just do it!

There will be the opportunity to taste and purchase home grown wine and their award winning olive oil.
