Karl, Rayna, Tara, Jamari and Curtis are having a Permablitz on Sunday November the 14th in Braybrook and we’d love you to come along and join in on the fun. We are planning to complete a half built raised bed kitchen garden, with three new garden beds, a new ground cover, and build a new chicken run. On the day we’ll be learning how to create a low maintenance ground cover, build garden beds, fill them with the ‘lasagne’ raised bed technique, plant vege seedlings, move established plants, create a ‘chook-proof’ area and building a raised chook house. All with the aim of using as much recycled and repurposed materials as possible.

Lunch and refreshments and a liberal dose of stimulating conversation will be provided.

Kids are more than welcome and we have plenty of spare beds for those that need their naps. There’ll be a kiddie supervision roster for an hour off the hard work to hang out and play so all the parents get a go out in the garden. We’ll also be running a little art workshop for the kids. Parents – bring along a plain cotton tshirt or singlet that needs decorating.

RSVP: to Rayna rayna@radicalcrossstitch.com or 041 662 0221 for address and for catering purposes
